Description:
A poster advertising for the comedian George Edwards for Thatcher, Primrose, and West's Minstrels. The name of the company is in black lettering and in the center is a picture of the comedian George Edwards. Large black lettering at the top of the poster reads "Thatcher, Primrose And West's". At the bottom in red and black coloring are the words "Minstrels" and "George Edwards Comedian".;Found pasted to what had orignally been an exterior brick wall in a building at Monroe when donor's mother bought an apartment in the building. There were other posters on the wall but they could not be removed without destroying them.;Used to promote theatrical productions in Grand Rapids. the wall the poster was found on was probably an exterior wall which would have made the posters visible to people passing by.
