"Dominican Rep." is printed across the top of the flag.;This banner and the others in this same accession were sold by a store located in a Hispanic neighborhood of multiple ethnicities. They are displayed inside purchasers' cars, as a symbol of ethnic pride, and to distinguish the owner from Hispanics or Latinos of different origin.
