Axe,;Richard B. Crowe donated several items from Egypt, Africa, and South America as part of Accession 4821. They were supposedly collected by a Dr. Robert B. Myers, a Baptist minister, in 1909. He is said to have traveled "1000 miles up the Congo -- 800 up Niger River". It is possible that Niger is a misunderstanding or mistake for "Nile."
