Description:
This television is an Admiral model P908M. It has a black and white screen, an external antenna, and a handle on the top, indicating that the television was supposed to be "portable," although it is very heavy.;This television is one of the newer models in the GRPM and documents changes in this iconic American gadget. This television is also significant because it introduces the relatively recent feature of portability. Most earlier sets were designed as part of a console which was more like a piece a furniture than an appliance. With its top handle, this television was designed for easy movement around the house.
