Description:
Plush toy in the shape of popular Elmo character. Doll has red fur, white plastic eyes, and a battery compartment at the back.;Tickle Me Elmo is an example of a fad toy. When it was released in 1996, the doll was unexpectedly popular. During the Christmas shopping season this led to shortages, and reports of price gouging and even violence on the part of parents trying to acquire Tickle Me Elmo for their children. This original Tickle Me Elmo doll is an excellent example of an extremely popular children's toy from the 1990s.;This doll was purchased for the donor's son by his grandparents.
