Small envelope containing a brochure of Schedules and Rates, as well as a complimentary Pere Marquette Railway postcard.;This is a combination timetable and souvenir for the Pere Marquette Railway Company's auto ferries. In addition to regular train service, the company operated several large ferry boats to carry passengers and their cars across the Great Lakes. These documents would have been printed regularly to provide valuable reference information for the thousands of travelers who used the company's trains to travel around Michigan (and beyond). The postcard was likely included in the hopes that travelers would send it home to friends and relatives who would become customers.
