This collection consists of materials that belonged to Thomas Wilson, a furniture decorator in Grand Rapids in the early twentieth century. The collection is divided into several series, including published material or booklets, correspondence, clippings, recipes, decorative painting samples, and furniture decoration drawings. The material in this collection will be useful to researchers interested in early furniture decoration, including the creative process by which such decorations were researched, drafted, and finally implemented.  Additionally, there are several interesting letters from Mr. Wilson's manager at the C.
