An advertising brochure for the refrigerator company Kelvinator, stating "A New Kelvinator" and "At a new low price". The Kelvinator company was founded in 1914, in Detroit, Michigan. They merged with the Leonard Company in 1926, an appliance company owned by Charles Heman Leonard in Grand Rapids, Michigan. During Leonard's success with his innovative refrigerators, with porcelain lined and removable "Leonard Cleanable" cabinets, Kelvinator began buying Leonard's boxes for its electric refrigerated models.
This pocket-sized brochure features a unique Kalvinator Co. logo with images of a knight and a fist gripping wheat. Also includes images of factories in Detroit, Michigan, the Canadian plant in London, Ontario, and in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sponsored by and/or distributed by Consumers Power Co. who provided electric hookup services to the refrigerators.

1937: Company merges with Nash Motors to form Nash-Kelvinator Corporation.
1954-1968: Company is a division of American Motors Corporation.
1958: Division becomes Kelvinator-Leonard-A.B.C. with acquisition of Altorfer Brothers Co. of Peoria, Illinois.
1968-1981: Company becomes a division of White Consolidated Industries.
