Description:
The Handy Andy Tool Set was manufactured circa 1970 by Skil Craft Playthings Incorporated in Chicago, Illinois. This toy is significant because it taught carpentry which was considered an appropriate activity for young boys of the era. The contents inside the toolbox are a metal handsaw, two hammers, a pair of pliers, a screwdriver, a c-clamp, a wooden level, a trimming plane, a tri-square, and a folding measuring tape. The toolbox does not contain original packaging.
