This California Raisin character was manufactured by the California Raisin Advisory Board in 1988. The California Raisins were a fictional animated band originally appearing on a television commercial that promoted raisin sales. The public responded so well to the commercial that the characters were then used in animated films, albums, and many other forms of merchandise in the years following their initial creation. This toy does not contain any original packaging and is in good condition.
