Description:
This Frisbee by Wham-O brand was named the "Flying Saucer Frisbee" and features the names of the planets along the outer edge. The Company's first Frisbee was first created in 1957 and they described the product as an aerodynamic plastic disc. The space theme with this particular model from the mid-1960s relates to the fascination with outer space and the Space Race (the competition between Russia and the US to dominate space) that was happening during this period in history.
