Description:
The Peninsular club was formed in 1881 and resided in 2 buildings before this one. The first was from 1881-1883 before moving to another building on the same plot of land as the current structure. That 2nd building was destroyed in 1914 and the current one built in its place.The club boasted 1,090 members in 1997, but had a declining membership since that point
The building was purchased by another company in 2004 after the club ran into financial struggle, the club later moved out of the building in 2008 and was disbanded in 2010
