Description:

This civil rights rally poster promotes a rally that took place on November 4th at 7:30 pm at the First Community A.M.E Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The speakers were Reverand Robert Williams and Nadine Brown and it was sponsored by the Citizens for Eisenhower Committee. 

Based on an article in the Grand Rapids Press, this rally took place on November 4, 1956. 

This poster is part of the Dr. Cortez English Archival Collection #240 which contains papers, photographs, negatives, and other miscellaneous items related to the English family.
