Waddell Manufacturing Company (creator)
Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Manufacturer of wood furniture trim including machine carved and turned moldings, knobs, rosettes, davenport and table feet, victrola legs, and radio grilles for furniture manufacturers and later for the "Do-it-yourself" trade. Because of restrictions on metal manufacturing during World War II, Waddell produced sliding wooden springs modeled after carriage springs, as a substitute for coiled metal springs in upholstered furniture.
