The Peter C. and Emajean Cook Foundation was established in 1987 to ensure the philanthropic legacy of Peter and Emajean Cook would live on. It was the successor of the Cook Charitable Foundation and by the Peter C. and Emajean Cook Charitable Trust. Peter and Emajean were strong believers in using their wealth to provide financial and leadership support to church and community organizations. One notable project aided by the Cook Foundation is the Cook Carousel Pavilion at the Grand Rapids Public Museum that houses the 1928 Spillman Carousel, as well as the restoration of the carousel figures. The Cook Foundation has also supported JA Biztown, the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Hand2Hand, and the John Ball Zoo, to name a few.  Peter C. Cook (depicts) Emajean "Pat" Cook (depicts)
