Matching knife and sheath. The knife has a steel blade and leather-wrapped handle with crescent-shaped butt and crossguard. The sheath--like the handle--is black and maroon leather with rounded tip and hand-tooled geometric designs on one side.;The Fulani are a large, diverse group of peoples living in eastern West Africa.;The donor obtained the knife from a Rev. Arthur Anderson, who obtained it during the 1950s while in Cameroon, West Africa.
