Description:
Earthenware stein with a flat lid and a simple thumblift. Color contrast done in a blue glaze. Image of a man and woman in a field of wheat. The woman is sitting with a bundle of wheat stalks in her lap. The man kneels beside her. Appears as though she is removing a thread from his coat (possibly after mending it) with her teeth. On either side of the handle are writings in German. One possibly says something about the drink and the mouth and the other says something about a healthy heart.
