Made by Christoph Funk of Suhl Germany in the mid to late 1800s. Funk was an accomplished firearms manufacturer during the time period. He was known for his high level of quality and craftsmanship. This shotgun is very well made, featuring Damascus steel barrels. The stock is nicely figured and features checkering on both the buttstock and the forend. Both lock plates feature game scene engraving. The barrel rib is marked "CHRISTOPH FUNK SUHL".
