This example is unmarked. Resembles traditional half stock designs from the midwest of the period. There are remnants of scroll engraving on the lock but it is very faint, likely the manufacturers marking would have been present as well but has worn away. The rifle also features a brass trigger guard as well as double set triggers. The barrel is completely unmarked but is of an octagon design.
