This armchair, part of the "C" series, was manufactured by the Metal Office Furniture Company around 1950. The gray steel frame supports a rounded backrest and the armrests have serpentine-shaped supports. The backrest and padded seat are upholstered in green vinyl and it stands on four plain legs supported by two side stretchers.This chair is featured on page 213 of Grand Rapids Furniture: The Story of America's Furniture City by Christian G. Carron, accession number 2020.1.33.
