Description:
Ivory rectangle carved on one side into double set of pyramidal projections; back perforated with two holes at each end for attachment of rawhide cords which would be attached to the boot. One of a set; worn while traveling over sea ice or frozen snow in spring. See Nelson, 1899(1983), Fig. 69: 3 from Cape Darby.
