Description:
This World War I American Red Cross nursing uniform is made of white cotton and has white buttons down the center front. It has a flat collar and a patch pocket on either side of the waist. This uniform also has a left breast pocket that features an American Red Cross patch. Two red stripes can be seen above the cuff on the proper left sleeve. These stripes indicate two years of service. This uniform also has an attached belt that buttons in the front. There is a stamp on the inside of the collar that reads "WWOL".
