Description:
This child's ensemble is made of navy blue wool and consists of two pieces that include a jacket and shorts. The jacket is double breasted and has a patch pocket on either side of the waist. An interior maker label reads "Merry Mites Inc., 6". The matching short have suspenders attached at the waist and a zipper fly. They also have an identical label to the jacket. According to museum records, this ensemble was purchased for William Kutsche when he was five years old and was worn to his sister's wedding.
