Description:
This side cap, sometimes referred to as a garrison cap or overseas cap, was worn by Vorschule Suhl of the Hitler Youth (Hitlerjugend) of Nazi Germany during World War II (1939-1945). It is made of khaki twill and features blue piping and the emblem of the Hitler Youth on the center front. According to museum records, this was a cadet's cap.

The Hitler Youth, known as the Hitlerjugend in German, was a youth organization in Nazi Germany during World War II. It was founded in 1922 and consisted of males aged 14 to 18. The purpose of this organization was to ensure the future of Nazi Germany and to spread Nazi ideology.
