Description:
This military blouse is from the United States Army Air Corps of the United States Army. It was worn by Sergeant Kenneth G. Kloostra of Grand Rapids, Michigan during World War II (1939-1945). 

This blouse is made of khaki cotton and features a 2nd Army Air Force patch on the proper left shoulder. Both sleeves display Sergeant insignias and the proper right shoulder has a 15th Army patch.

The United States Army Air Corps, also known as USAAC, was a service branch of the United States Army specializing in aerial warfare and was originally known as the United States Army Air Service. It was renamed on July 2nd, 1926. In 1942 it was abolished as an organization. The United States Army Air Corps continued to exist as a branch of the army until the ​National Security Act of 1947 caused it to disband.
