Description:
This American Red Cross World War II summer uniform is made of grey cotton and consists of three pieces: a jacket, a skirt, and a belt. The jacket has a flap pocket on either side of the waist and breast pockets on the chest. Each pocket is closed with a black button with the words "American Red Cross" on them. The same buttons can be seen down the center front of the jacket. This jacket has epaulets on the shoulders and an American Red Cross insignia on the right side of the notched lapel. There is also a patch on the proper left shoulder that reads "American Red Cross Military Welfare Service". The matching skirt has four buttons on the proper left side of the waist.
