Identifier:

Description:
This beige dress features a purple, pink, and brown floral pattern. It has a low waistline, sitting just above the hips. In Victorian society, it was customary to follow a strict etiquette for mourning royalty, political leaders and of course for relatives. During the end phase of the mourning ritual, it was common to add designs and decorations to everyday dresses as seen with this dress. It is significant because of the applications that were applied for the later mourning period.
