This batiste dress features velvet trim with french knots on the collar, cuffs, and on the center front of the boned bodice. The waist of the bodice is also trimmed in velvet. There is soutache braid throughout the bodice and the skirt and also on the shoulder caps of the sleeves and on the cuffs. The sleeves also feature pintucks and the back of the bodice has a velvet bow. There is satin trim on the center front of the bodice and also on the cuffs of the sleeves. The skirt has a train. Features that indicate this dress is from the 1900s are the standing collar, the narrow waist, and the S-bend silhouette.
