This IKEA Bucket Hat from 2022 is made of the same durable materials as the Swedish retailer IKEA's bags and was selected as part of the Grand Rapids Public Museum Student Style Collecting Project. The hat represents a style worn by high school students in Grand Rapids in 2022. The hat is a casual style designed as protection from the sun and rain, and is easy to keep clean. 

The Student Style Collecting Project involves GRPM working with the Grand Rapids Public Museum High School's graduating class to build a collection of contemporary fashion worn by high school students in Grand Rapids. Beginning in 2022 GRPM Staff worked with Museum School students to identify and collect two outfits.
