These "BDG Vintage Feel High-Waisted Baggy Jeans" from the retailer Urban Outfitters were selected as part of the Grand Rapids Public Museum Student Style Collecting Project. They represent a style worn by high school students in Grand Rapids in 2022. They are an every-day baggy jean, with a loose, straight leg and high-waisted silhouette. They have a rigid denim for a vintage feel with 5-pocket styling with a zip fly. 

The Student Style Collecting Project involves GRPM working with the Grand Rapids Public Museum High School's graduating class to build a collection of contemporary fashion worn by high school students in Grand Rapids. Beginning in 2022 GRPM Staff worked with Museum School students to identify and collect two outfits.
