Description:
This World War I American Red Cross surgical gown is made of white cotton and has an American Red Cross patch on the upper left side of the chest. It has a V-neckline and a patch pocket on either side of the waist. This uniform has long sleeves and an attached sash that buttons on the proper left side of the waist. It also has three ties down the center back. This was accompanied by veil number 127031.1 and was worn by volunteers serving during the war.
